Google’s new social networking service announced earlier this week, “Google Buzz” uses data about those you frequently e-mail to automatically build a social network for you. In Google Buzz, your address book is your network, that is if you use gmail. Google Buzz is not yet available for Google Apps users but promises it is coming soon!

Google unveiled a new version of its mobile Google Maps application for Android phones and version 4.0 of Maps has Buzz firmly integrated into it. Maps offers layers such as Traffic and Latitude that adds new info to your map and now a new layer called Buzz. Now you can send a location-based Buzz directly from Maps.

Buzzard watching – a great way to find out who is using Google Buzz in your area. And, of course, be careful because each buzz includes a full address of where the more tech-savvy people are!
